What we’ve been up to… the Paralympic Games

The Cultural Exposé at the Paralympics

It’s been all fine and dandy watching the Paralympic Games on Channel 4 (kudos to Public Enemy for the theme tune!) but seeing the action unfold live at the Olympic Stadium has got to be one of our highlights of year. We caught a few heats and finals on August 31st, but we were glad to return last night for what was quite an epic evening – especially as we witnessed Oscar Pistorius and the rest of the South African 4x100m relay team storm to first place, earning a new world record.

Sadly,  the Paralympic Games wraps up on Sunday (September 9th) so to make the most of it before it goes,  it’s worth checking out the marathon around London on the morning as it’s free and no tickets required or follow @2012TicketAlert  on Twitter to get alerts about any remaining tickets for paid events.
