Who doesn’t love flicking through a quality broadsheet on a Sunday? It’s this sentiment that inspired the guys behind the Wilderness Festival to come up with Sunday Papers Live – a clever day of intelligent cultural pursuits, structured around the sections you’d usually find in a weekend paper. Taking place in a giant living room, this immersive event covers a number of journalistic topics in the form of conversations, performances, workshops and walks, led by some of the finest speakers and personalities in the capital. This edition’s line-up includes Channel 4’s Jon Snow (World News), comedian Andrew Maxwell (Columnist), Natty Cangeroo & The Flames of Rhythm (Music) and the 37-strong Wilderness Orchestra, who’ll be taking care of the film section by performing some of the greatest movie soundtracks. Plus, there are over 15 more guests on the bill taking on various themes across culture and lifestyle, while the food comes from cult faves The Breakfast Club and eco-chef Tom Hunt, who’ll be whipping up a banquet roast. Sounds like the kind of Sunday we could get used to… Sunday Papers Live takes place on November 24th at Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regent’s Park Road.
