It’s been a decade since this award-winning French-influenced burger chain first landed in the capital (you can read their potted history here ) and their “chic-meets-meat” concept continues to attract the sort of foodies after innovation and quality like their Flambé burger – a generous sandwich which, to your delight, is flame-grilled at your table. It’s made a recent comeback on the menu at their newest branch in Shoreditch – and after trying it out last week, we can see why. This hodge-podge of prime Scotch beef, roquette, pickled onions, grape chutney, saucisse de morteau (smoked sausage), camembert cheese and their signature smokey sauce (served on a brioche bun) is a delicious combo of ingredients and makes for a great afternoon lunch on the weekend (just be prepared to sleep it off later!).
