These uniquely festive multimedia slideshows combined with good food are available in about 40 cities worldwide, where any artist member submits up to 5 minutes worth of slides. The food is subject to more varied amounts, of course.

Each evening begins with generous doses of conversation and guests mingle over the very best of home-cooked meals, brought by guests of any party. The slideshow commences soon after. This time round, half of the recurring event’s theme is dedicated to ‘Gender & Identity’.

Most of the work on screen is later archived onto SLPS’ website to be showcased to a larger global community – a great way to gain exposure for budding photographers, film directors or any artists of any medium in between and for members of the global community to be introduced to fresh talent and ideas.

Born in Seattle in 2000, the Slideluck Potshow concept grew up later in New York, where founding photographer Casey Kelbaugh sought to bring together people of all creeds and forms of creativity in a place where they could share their artistic achievements in a social manner.
