Love him or loath him, you can’t deny that Jamie Oliver‘s mission to bring good food to the world is a remarkable one, with him going after school dinners, campaigning for healthy eating, bringing his cuisine to the masses via Jamie’s Italian and Fifteen and teaching people how to throw down in the kitchen like him at Recipease – a cookery school-slash-food shop that aims to bring together the foodie community (and doing a fine job at it!)
Three years after launching in Clapham Junction, a new branch has recently been making itself at home in West London offering visitors fresh ingredients or prepared meals – like Sunday roast chicken – or the option of taking classes in everything from sushi making to cooking the perfect steak. This Thursday, they’re even opening their Notting Hill doors to those ice cream connoisseurs The Ice Cream Union who’ll be letting anyone who visits from 6-8pm taste test their flavours. Foodie heaven we think!
